This 15oz mug is substantially larger than traditional 11oz coffee mugs, and has a more hefty feel, being nearly 5" tall. It is dishwasher and microwave safe, and is great for hot or cold liquids.
Lucy Maud Montgomery is hands down one of my very favorite authors. She inspires me with her wit and insight about life and people. She has created so many delightful characters that I presume to call some of my best literary friends. Chiefly, of course, there is Anne but in no way limited to Anne. The Story Girl and the Golden Road are probably my next two favorites, followed by Jane of Lantern Hill and The Blue Castle. (And A Tangled Web? And Pat of Silver Bush? And Emily?!) I so appreciate Montgomery for the entire person that she was -- dark and broody, cheery and wholesome. This mug, featuring my original watercolor illustration of Green Gables and Montgomery herself is my little cheers to the author I love so well.
